Refund & Return Policy

This policy explains how returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations work at ClearLine, operated by TheTreasureHub LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company in the United States. It applies to purchases made through clearlinemoto.com and forms part of our Terms of Service. It should be read together with our Shipping Policy and our Privacy Policy.

ClearLine sells aftermarket, unbranded replacement visors and face shields described as compatible with or designed to fit various helmet brands. Our products are not original equipment (OEM) parts, are not genuine brand parts, and are not manufactured by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any helmet manufacturer. Brand and model names are used only to indicate the helmets a visor is designed to fit. Please read this policy in full before ordering, as some of our terms are specific to how our items are shipped.

How our fulfilment affects returns

ClearLine operates a dropshipping model: your order ships directly from one of our overseas fulfilment partners, and different items may originate from different locations. Because of this, please do not return any item to the address printed on the shipping label or parcel. That address is a fulfilment centre and is not set up to receive returns; parcels sent there may be lost and cannot be refunded. We will always confirm the correct return address in writing after you contact us to start a return.

Delivery timelines you are agreeing to

Because our items ship internationally from overseas partners, delivery takes longer than a local retailer. Estimated delivery is 5–10 business days total from order to arrival, with tracking on every order.

Every order includes tracking. These are estimates, not guarantees; customs clearance and peak periods can add time. By placing an order you acknowledge these delivery timelines. A delivery that is still within these estimated windows is not a lost or faulty order and is not, on its own, a basis for a refund. Full shipping details are set out in our Shipping Policy.

Correct delivery address

Please check that your shipping name, address, and contact details are correct at checkout, as we cannot change them once your order has been dispatched. We are not able to refund or replace orders that fail to arrive because an incomplete or incorrect address was provided, that are refused at delivery, or that go unclaimed. If you spot an error, contact us immediately and we will try to correct it before dispatch.

Lost or significantly delayed parcels

If your tracking has not updated for an extended period, or your order has not arrived within a reasonable time after the estimated delivery window above, contact us at support@clearlinemoto.com with your order number and we will investigate with our fulfilment and carrier partners. Where a parcel is confirmed lost in transit, or is materially beyond the estimated window through no fault of yours, we will arrange a free replacement or a full refund. Please allow us a reasonable opportunity to locate the parcel before a refund or replacement is issued. Nothing here limits any statutory right you may have if goods are not delivered within the agreed or a reasonable time.

Your 30-day return window

You may request a return within 30 calendar days of the delivery date shown by your tracking, provided the item is unused, uninstalled, and returned in its original packaging with any protective film, inserts, and documentation intact. Visors are precision optical parts, so even brief test-fitting on a helmet, peeling of protective film, or handling of the lens surface can render an item unsellable and ineligible for a standard return. This 30-day policy is offered in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights (including the EU/UK cancellation and faulty-goods rights described below).

Statutory cancellation rights for EU and UK consumers

If you are a consumer located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. This cooling-off right applies in addition to, and independently of, our 30-day policy above, and it is not conditional on the item being unused or having its protective film intact.

  • To exercise it, notify us within the 14-day period by emailing support@clearlinemoto.com with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You may use any clear written statement; a specific form is not required.
  • After giving notice, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you told us you were cancelling.
  • We will refund the price you paid, including standard outbound delivery, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or of receiving proof that you have sent them, whichever is earlier. We are not required to refund any extra cost you chose for a faster-than-standard delivery option.
  • You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods. You may handle the goods as you would in a shop to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning; we may deduct only for any reduction in their value caused by handling beyond that.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer in your country of residence.

Cancelling an order before dispatch

If you change your mind, contact us as quickly as possible at support@clearlinemoto.com with your order number. If your order has not yet been dispatched by our fulfilment partner, we will cancel it and issue a full refund to your original payment method. Because our processing time is only 1–3 business days, orders can move to dispatch quickly, so we cannot guarantee a pre-dispatch cancellation. Once an item has shipped, the standard return process below applies (and, for EU/UK consumers, the statutory cooling-off right above).

How to start a return

All returns must be authorised before you send anything back. To start a return:

  • Email support@clearlinemoto.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  • If the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, include clear photos or video as described in the section below.
  • We will reply with return authorisation and the correct return address and instructions. Please wait for these before shipping the item.

Returns sent without prior authorisation, or to any address we did not provide, may be delayed in processing. This authorisation step does not affect your statutory rights; where you are exercising a statutory cancellation or faulty-goods right, contacting us by email is enough to preserve that right even before we reply.

Who pays return shipping

You are responsible for return shipping costs when returning an item because you changed your mind, no longer want it, or ordered the wrong fitment. We cover return shipping when the item is faulty, defective, or the wrong item was sent, or where your statutory rights require otherwise. We recommend using a tracked and, where appropriate, insured service, because we cannot refund items that do not reach the confirmed return address, except where your statutory rights provide otherwise.

Condition requirements and non-returnable situations

To qualify for a refund under our voluntary 30-day policy (as distinct from your statutory rights), the returned item must be in original, resalable condition. Under this policy we cannot accept an item that has been:

  • used, installed, or fitted to a helmet, even briefly;
  • scratched, scuffed, fingerprinted, or otherwise marked on the lens or coating;
  • returned without its original packaging, protective film, or included parts; or
  • returned outside the applicable return window without authorisation.

If a returned item arrives in a condition that does not meet these requirements, we may decline the refund or offer a partial refund reflecting the reduction in the item’s value, and we will contact you to explain and to arrange return of the item to you at your cost if you request it. These condition requirements do not apply where you are exercising a statutory cancellation or faulty-goods right; in those cases the relevant statutory rules on handling, diminished value, and remedies apply instead.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

We want every order to arrive correct and intact. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, please contact us at support@clearlinemoto.com promptly. We ask that you report visible transit damage or an incorrect item within 7 days of delivery, and report any manufacturing defect as soon as it becomes apparent. These timeframes help us resolve issues and raise them with our partners; they do not limit any longer statutory remedy you may have for faulty goods (for example, the UK short-term right to reject and the EU/UK legal guarantee against defects). Please include:

  • your order number;
  • clear photos or video showing the fault, damage, or incorrect item; and
  • where relevant, a photo of the outer packaging and shipping label.

Once we verify the issue, we will arrange a free replacement or a full refund to your original payment method, at your preference and subject to availability, and we will cover any return shipping we ask you to arrange. Photo or video evidence lets us resolve these cases quickly and, for damaged goods, helps us raise the matter with our fulfilment and carrier partners.

Fitment and compatibility are your responsibility

Our visors are listed by the helmet models they are designed to fit, but helmet manufacturers periodically change shield mounts and model revisions. Confirming that a visor fits your exact helmet make, model, and year is your responsibility. Wrong-fit returns are treated as change-of-mind returns, meaning you pay the return shipping. To avoid this, we strongly encourage you to message us at support@clearlinemoto.com to confirm compatibility before you order. We are happy to help you match the correct visor to your helmet.

A note on tinted and specialty visors

Clear and light-smoke visors are intended for general daytime use, and you should check your local road rules before use. Dark-smoke, mirrored, and iridium visors are sold for off-road, track, and closed-course use only; they are not sold as road-legal, may not meet ECE 22.06 (EU/UK) or DOT (US) standards, and are not intended for night or low-light use. Choosing a tint that does not suit your intended use is not a fault and is treated as a change-of-mind return. Because we do not represent these items as road-legal or as meeting any safety-certification standard, a tint being unsuitable for road use is not a defect.

Exchanges

Because items ship individually from overseas partners, the fastest and most reliable way to exchange an item is to return the original for a refund (following the steps above) and place a new order for the item you want. This avoids delays from linking two international shipments. If you would prefer a direct exchange, contact us and we will do our best to accommodate it, subject to stock and the same condition requirements that apply to returns.

Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. For standard returns, we process the refund after the returned item has been received at the confirmed return address and inspected. Because returns may travel internationally, please allow time for the parcel to arrive before inspection begins. Where a statutory right applies, we will meet the applicable statutory refund timeframe (for EU/UK cancellations, within 14 days as described above).

  • We aim to complete inspection and issue the refund within 3–5 business days of receiving the item.
  • Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
  • Refunds are made in your original transaction currency; if you paid in a currency other than USD, the refunded amount may differ slightly due to exchange-rate movements, which are outside our control.
  • Where our error caused the return (faulty, damaged, or incorrect item), we refund the full amount you paid, including original shipping, or provide a free replacement.

International returns and customs

You are not charged any import duties or taxes to receive your order — ClearLine covers those. If you choose to return an item, you are responsible for the return-shipping cost (and any brokerage or duty charged on the parcel you send back), except where the return is due to our error or where your statutory rights provide otherwise. Please mark returned parcels clearly as a return of goods so they are not assessed as a new commercial import.

How we handle your information for returns

To process an order, return, replacement, or refund, we share the personal data necessary to fulfil and ship your order (such as your name, delivery address, and contact details) with our overseas fulfilment and shipping partners, and with our payment and store platform providers. This may involve transferring your data outside your country, including to jurisdictions outside the EU/UK and the United States. We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains the processors we use, the legal bases and safeguards for international transfers, and the data rights and opt-outs available to you under GDPR, UK GDPR, and applicable US state privacy laws. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details and to exercise those rights.
