Product Safety & Legal Disclaimer

This page explains what ClearLine sells, how our products should be used safely and lawfully, how orders are shipped, and the responsibilities that rest with you as the buyer and rider. Please read it in full before you order or fit any visor. By placing an order with ClearLine you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this disclaimer. ClearLine is operated by TheTreasureHub LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company based in the United States. If anything here is unclear, contact us at support@clearlinemoto.com before purchasing. This disclaimer works alongside our Returns Policy, Shipping Policy, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy; where a dedicated policy covers a topic in more detail, that policy applies.

What We Sell: Aftermarket, Unbranded Parts

ClearLine sells aftermarket, unbranded replacement visors and face shields for motorcycle helmets. Our products are manufactured independently. They are not original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts, and they are not genuine, brand-manufactured, or brand-authorized components.

  • Where we reference helmet brands such as AGV, Shoei, HJC, or any other maker, we do so solely to indicate which helmet models a visor is designed to fit (for example, “compatible with” or “fits”). These references describe intended fitment only.
  • All brand names, model names, and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification and compatibility purposes only.
  • ClearLine is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or connected to AGV, Shoei, HJC, or any other helmet manufacturer. No such manufacturer has reviewed, approved, or warranted our products.
  • Fitting an aftermarket visor may affect any warranty offered by your helmet’s original manufacturer. Check your helmet warranty terms if this matters to you.

Fitment & Compatibility Is Your Responsibility

Helmet manufacturers frequently revise shells, visor mechanisms, and mounting systems between model years and generations, sometimes without changing the model name. Compatibility information we provide is offered as a good-faith guide only.

  • It is your responsibility to verify that a visor fits your exact helmet model, generation, and year before ordering and before use.
  • A visor that is not correctly matched to your helmet may not seat properly, may not seal, may detach in use, or may impair the helmet’s protective function.
  • If you are unsure, message us at support@clearlinemoto.com to confirm fit before you buy. We are happy to help, but final responsibility for selecting the correct part remains with you.
  • Because our items ship directly from overseas fulfilment partners, confirming fitment in advance helps you avoid unnecessary international return shipping. See our Returns Policy for details.

Tint & Road Legality

Visor tint is directly linked to road legality, and the rules differ from country to country. Road-visibility and helmet-equipment laws vary by jurisdiction, and it is your responsibility to check and comply with the laws that apply where you ride. The categories below are general guidance, not a legal determination for your location.

Clear and Light-Smoke Visors

  • Intended for general daytime use.
  • Visibility and light-transmission standards differ between countries. In the EU and UK, helmet visors are commonly assessed against standards such as ECE 22.06; in the US, helmet equipment is commonly assessed against DOT requirements.
  • ClearLine does not claim that any product meets ECE 22.06, DOT, or any other standard unless that specific certification is stated explicitly on that product’s own page. Where no certification is stated, none should be assumed.
  • You must confirm that a given tint is permitted for road use in your country and locality before using it on public roads.

Dark-Smoke, Mirrored, and Iridium Visors

  • These are intended for off-road, track, and closed-course daytime use only.
  • They are NOT sold as road-legal and may not meet ECE 22.06, DOT, or other road-visibility requirements.
  • They must not be used at night or in low-light, fog, rain, or other reduced-visibility conditions, where they can dangerously restrict your vision.
  • Using a non-road-legal tinted visor on public roads may be unlawful in your jurisdiction and may expose you to penalties, insurance consequences, or liability. Any such use is entirely at your own risk and responsibility.

Safety-Relevant Equipment: Inspection & Use

A visor is safety-relevant equipment. It protects your eyes and face and affects your field of vision. Treat it accordingly.

  • Inspect the visor before every ride. Do not use it if it is cracked, chipped, deeply scratched, warped, delaminated, or otherwise damaged.
  • Damage or heavy scratching can cause glare, distortion, or sudden failure, and can seriously impair your vision.
  • Ensure the visor is correctly and fully installed according to your helmet manufacturer’s instructions, and that it opens, closes, and locks as intended before riding.
  • Replace any visor that no longer performs as intended. When in doubt, do not ride with it.
  • Keep visors clean using only mild, non-abrasive methods; harsh chemicals and abrasive cloths can weaken or scratch the surface.

No Certification Claimed Unless Stated

Unless a specific safety certification, standard, or approval (for example, an ECE or DOT marking) is expressly stated on the individual product page, ClearLine makes no claim that the product carries that certification. Product descriptions, compatibility notes, and general guidance on this page do not constitute a certification, warranty of road-legality, or guarantee of regulatory compliance in any jurisdiction.

Shipping, Dropshipping & Delivery

ClearLine operates on a dropship model: items are shipped directly to you from our overseas fulfilment partners. This keeps prices competitive but means delivery takes longer than domestic-warehouse retail. By ordering, you acknowledge and accept the following.

  • Estimated delivery: 5–10 business days total from order to arrival, with tracking provided on all orders. This is a good-faith estimate, not a guarantee, and can be affected by carrier delays, customs, weather, and peak periods.
  • Customs, import duties & taxes: the price you pay at checkout is the final price. ClearLine covers any import duties, VAT, or customs charges on your order, so you will not be billed extra to receive your parcel. If a carrier or customs authority bills you for an import charge anyway, contact us with the documentation and we will reimburse it.
  • Address accuracy: please check that your shipping address and contact details are correct at checkout. We are not responsible for delays, non-delivery, or loss caused by an incorrect or incomplete address, and reshipment in those cases may incur an additional charge.
  • Lost, delayed, or stuck shipments: if your tracking has not updated or your order has not arrived within the estimated window, contact us at support@clearlinemoto.com. We will work with the carrier and our fulfilment partner to locate the parcel and, where a shipment is confirmed lost, arrange a replacement or refund. Please allow reasonable time for investigation before treating an order as lost.
  • Multi-item orders may arrive in separate parcels and on different dates.

Order Acknowledgement

To make sure expectations are clear before money changes hands, by completing your purchase you confirm that you understand and agree that:

  • your item ships from an overseas fulfilment partner and delivery follows the estimated windows above, not next-day or express timescales;
  • the visor is an aftermarket, unbranded part, not a genuine or OEM component;
  • tinted, mirrored, and iridium visors are for off-road, track, or closed-course use and are not sold as road-legal; and
  • you are responsible for confirming fitment for your exact helmet before ordering.

If any of these do not match your expectations, please contact us before ordering rather than after dispatch, so we can help or cancel the order.

Returns & Refunds

Our full terms are set out in our Returns Policy. In summary:

  • We accept returns of unused, uninstalled visors in their original packaging within 30 days.
  • If an item is faulty or the wrong item was sent, we cover return shipping; otherwise the buyer pays return shipping.
  • Refunds are issued after the return is received and inspected.
  • Fitment and compatibility are the buyer’s responsibility, so we encourage you to message us to confirm fit before ordering.

These returns terms are in addition to, and do not limit, any statutory rights described in the next section.

Your Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this disclaimer removes or reduces rights that the law gives you and that cannot lawfully be excluded. In particular:

  • UK & EU customers generally have a 14-day cooling-off period to cancel a distance-purchase for any reason (subject to the limited exceptions in law), as well as remedies for goods that are faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK) and the EU Consumer Rights and Sales of Goods Directives. Where those rights apply, they take precedence over the general returns terms above.
  • Customers elsewhere, including in the US, retain any non-excludable consumer-protection rights available under the law of their state or country.

To exercise a cancellation or faulty-goods right, contact us at support@clearlinemoto.com and we will explain the return process for your situation.

Privacy & Your Data

To fulfil your order we collect the information you provide at checkout (such as name, shipping address, contact details, and order contents) and share it with the third parties needed to deliver your order, including our payment processor, Stripe, and our overseas fulfilment and shipping partners. Because some of these partners are located outside your country, fulfilling an international order necessarily involves a transfer of your data across borders, carried out with appropriate safeguards.

  • If you are in the UK or EU, we handle personal data in line with the UK GDPR / EU GDPR, and you have rights to access, correct, delete, and object to the processing of your data.
  • If you are a resident of a US state with its own privacy law (for example, California), you have the rights granted under that law, including the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are defined.
  • We do not sell your personal data for profit, and we use it to process and support your order, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.

Full details of what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights are set out in our Privacy Policy. To make a privacy request, contact support@clearlinemoto.com.

Assumption of Risk

Motorcycling carries inherent risk, and protective equipment reduces but does not eliminate that risk. By purchasing and using our products, you accept responsibility for selecting the correct part, verifying its legality for your intended use, installing it correctly, inspecting it before each use, and using it lawfully and safely.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClearLine and TheTreasureHub LLC are not liable for loss, injury, damage, penalty, or other consequence arising from incorrect fitment, use of a non-road-legal visor on public roads, use of a damaged visor, improper installation, or use contrary to this disclaimer or to applicable local law. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under any non-excludable consumer-protection law.

Governing Law

This disclaimer is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and applies alongside our other store policies. Where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence grant you additional rights or require that the disputes be governed by local law, this disclaimer does not override those rights, and they continue to apply to you.
